My Testimony: |
I developed my faith in God in college through praying when I was in situations that I couldn't handle on my own. God never let me down. When I met my wife, she talked so much about her faith that I became intrigued. I visited her church and decided to commit my life to Christ 10 months later (1986). Thus began my journey as a believer in Christ. When I learned about the power of the Holy SPirit, I decided to tap into it and received the baptism of the Holy SPirit in 1996. However, even with this I still felt that something was missing. My life was not integrated. In 1999, while visiting the church I now attend, I heard the pastor speak about the difference between believers and disciples. He pointed out that even demons believe in Christ. This challenged me to become a disciple of Christ - one who aims to live and act as Christ did. That's where I am today. |
